Hand painted tote bags
I paint canvas panels in a variety of colors. For example, if I am creating a red panel, I will use three or four varieties of reds and oranges or pinks. Using several colors to create "one" color makes for a much richer, textured fabric. I choose a lining fabric from my extensive collection of commercial fabrics. The bags have color matching or coordinated pockets on the outsides and also have a pocket on the inside (most of the time). The biggest bags have a flap and snap closure with a wonderful and sometimes wacky button. With the leftovers from the larger bags, I make small flap bags. Some of the tote bags are made with several colors of the leftover fabrics, making for wild 'n' crazy presentations.

The prices for these bags range from $38 to $90.

Necklaces, earrings, etc.
As you can see in the pictures here, I choose a metal (gold, silver, or copper) and string that color of metal beads along with glass and other types of beads to create unique and beautiful necklaces and drop earrings. I also make bracelets in the same manner. The necklaces are generally 18" long. You can order a longer or shorter one, too. The drop earrings, made to coordinate with the necklaces, hang about an inch and a half from the ear wires. I can make them shorter, too.

I have become a bonafide bead nut and enjoy working with all kinds of them. I love the challenge of creating unusual combinations of beads and colors. Some of the pieces have a focal, central bead and others are more like a delicious stew of a variety of beads. The metal beads are NOT genuine gold and silver. They are called base metals. Well, sometimes, I do splurge!

I also do special orders for the jewelry. Say, for example, you want a long necklace that you can wrap around twice with blues and greens and no metal colors. I can do it! We will simply work out the costs (which may vary from those listed above) and there you are.

Hand painted art pillows
I love these pillows!!! Several years ago, a friend and I decided to create collaborative paintings. We passed panels of cotton fabric back and forth to each other, each of us adding one design element at a time. Each painting became a rich and multi layered surface of colors and designs and patterns. We amassed so many of these wonderful paintings that we were overwhelmed! We decided to divide the panels and then each of us could do whatever we wanted to with them. I have decided to feature the paintings themselves by simply stitching them with fabulous materials for the backs of the pillows. There are many of the panels that were big enough to make pairs of pillows and there are also many that are singles. As you can see from the photos here, each painting is created with lots of colors and patterns. Generally, there may be a "main" color, but lots of them are wonderful conglomerations. When you decide to order any, we can talk about colors.
